As you know electricty in one fasion or another; Voltage is a given normally in all electrical applications, as too is amperage. For most of us we are not involved in electrical production. When we start from a magnetic impulse, we must measure that impulse to extrapilate the potential and amperage.

For instance the plasma globe has no voltage output per se' , it is a plasma, a magnetic value, gauss, or Tesla, etc. + or - measurment.
